Melarcode is a small village near Alathur(Palakkad). My Father Melarcode Variath Sankarankutty comes from this small village, Now a retired officer from MTNL, Mumbai. I have been a frequent visitor to my father's home in Melarcode. The village is still preserved in a very beautiful manner by the residents and it is not exploited by the city. The village is very green and a wonderful place to escape from the daily problems. - M.S.Pradeep
