One of the most anticipated music events of the year Meltdown offers a guest director the chance to curate their own personal festival, revealing their interests and influences through a series of artistic happenings at London's Southbank Centre. The festival's eclectic mix of music, art, performance and film brings together a diverse range of artists, resulting in unique collaborations and historic one-off events.
Ever since emerging out of the Bristol club scene in the late 1980s, Massive Attack have always been musical innovators, pushing barriers forward with every release and working with a wide range of collaborators including Tricky, Portishead, Liz Fraser, Sinéad O'Connor, Mos Def and Damon Albarn.
The full line-up for Massive Attack’s Meltdown was announced on Sunday 20 April 2008. Tickets can be booked through Southbank Ticket office and Southbank Centre Website. Fans of past Meltdowns and Massive Attack will find Facebook (fanpage) , YouTube (channel) and Myspace Sites published about these events and artists
