Melbourne Military Railway

The Melbourne Military Railway was a military railway in Melbourne, Derbyshire and King's Newton used by the British Army during the Second World War from 1939 until 1949.
It was used by the military to assist in the preparation for Operation Overlord allowing units to practice demolition and rebuilding of railways.
