Deutsch: Mellin de Saint-Gelais (1490-1558), Kreidezeichnung von François Clouet (1510-1572), der Hofmaler dreier Valois-Könige war. Die Zeichnung befindet sich mit der Inventar-Nr. MN 258 im Musée Condé, Chateau de Chantilly. Die Zeichnung ist 33,7 cm hoch und 23,1 cm breit. Die hier wiedergegebene Reproduktion gibt eher einen schwachen Eindruck vom Original wieder, das in roter und schwarzer Kreide ausgeführt wurde. Die französische Kunsthistorikerin Alexandra Zvereva (* 1977), die im Jahr 2005 an der Sorbonne zum Thema "La collection de portraits au crayon de Catherine de Médicis" bei Denis Crouzet promovierte, zeigt auf Ihrer Website "Portraits au Crayon des Clouet" u.a. auch ein JPG, das sehr viel werkgetreuer ist. Ich werde mich demnächst beim oben genannten Museum um ein farbiges GFDL-Bildchen bemühen, damit die (wenig eindrucksvolle, aber gemeinfreie) Schwarz-Weiß-Version ersetzt werden kann. --Bogart99 18:15, 23.
