The statement that Ben Barka was the first Moroccan to obtain a degree in mathematics is dubious, given the hundreds of years during which Arab scholars were the world's leaders in mathematics. No doubt he was the first to obtain a degree of a certain kind (French elite school?), but this needs to be specified. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.143.200.247 (talk • contribs) .
