Megiddo is a song and music video by the Boston based band Specimen-X It was released in the summer of 2000 on the band's 3 song EP "Ascension to Power".

Megiddo was the first track off the band's 3-song EP entitled "Ascension to Power". The song condemned technology and it's enslavement of the human race, thus leading to the conclusion that technology must be destroyed.

A music video was made for this song. It was directed by Jeacline Hedlund and Dave Gutt of Subversion Media and was released in the summer of 2000 in conjunction with the release of the EP. The video was originally edited by Jeacline but was also edited later by Dave thus resulting in 2 versions of the video.
Although Megiddo is the name for the battle of Armageddon the video has little to do with that topic directly. The video instead focuses on the concept that technology, and it's hold over the human race, will ultimately be our downfall and that it must be destroyed.
This video was officially released in the Spring of 2006 on the band's first DVD. Specimen-X: The Ultimate DVD can be found on the band's official website Specimen-X.com

- Along with the band the video stars a young boy who is actually the cousin of guitarist John Malcolm.
- This video was shot in the Seymours Ice Cream factory in south Boston. The factory no longer exists under that ownership.
