Meg Zamula is a former DJ at WMUC, a onetime writer for Pitchfork Media, co-creator of the Soi Disantra blog, and editor of a few mid-1990s fanzines. In 2005, the band Swirlies released an album called Winsome Zamula's Hammer of Contumely in response to Zamula's 3.5 ratings of the Swirlies' The Yes Girls album for Pitchfork.
Meg Zamula is also a freelance music critic to the Washington Post Express edition and also online journals. Lately she has been a feature DJ at Washington, DC music clubs.
