[edit] Comments

I have no formal comments to make right now, but I simply want to note here, that I am involved in this article, and hope to make general comments on this Medcab case, as things go on. thanks. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 16:06, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Like Steve, I have no comments yet, but hope to make helpful comments toward this Medcab case, as it progresses. I have not been involved, but am aware of 'things' relative to the I-P conflict; I am here as a result of my two cents that I added at the previous RfC. I am holding off on participating until User:Jaakobou can as well. While we have had numerous disagreements, I believe that it is important for him to feel that he is fully involved and heard in this process. Whatever the outcome, even if we don't all personally agree with the result, it is my hope that we will agree to abide by the consensus that is forged. In order for that to happen, all editors need to feel as though they all equal partners here. I believe his block will expire in 5 or 6 days. Until then, I will be sitting in the sidelines so to speak. Tiamuttalk 06:13, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] case structure

To allow this case to go forward, we might want to consider an idea which I sometimes find helpful in such cases: it is to use a structure like ArbCom's; in other words, to set up separate sections for each side (or for some individual parties), where each side of any issue could be laid out.

The mediator(s) would then have a third section where comments and questions could be posted to various parties. also, we would have another section or sections, which would be for general comments, and for comments by uninvolved parties, and also one for discussing specific ideas and proposals.

i don't want to set this up myself right now, as it is only a suggestion, and I'm not sure the case has actually begun anyway. I assume that once the case has begun, each side will lay out its case, ideas, arguments, etc etc, in some form. thanks. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 19:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
