User:Eleland objected on talk to the previous version of the template, arguing that it was unduly beholden to an Americanized and pro-Israel point of view. User:Jayjg disagreed. An extensive discussion ensued but it became heated and narrowly focused. User:Eleland expressed his belief that no serious objections were being raised, and altered the article. A revert war ensued.

[edit] What would you like to change about that?

I (User:Eleland) would like either:

• The current version to remain
• More satisfactory explanation of why the previous version is preferable, or why parts of it are preferable.
