[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Matt 21:58, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- Kriging and related pages User_talk:JanWMerks and Special:Contributions/JanWMerks
- Who's involved?
- User_talk:JanWMerks has been using the Kriging article as his personal soapbox since April
- User:Hike395 has made a valiant effort to restore NPOV, but he seems to be on his own
- User:Antandrus is considering helping out with an RfC
- What's going on?
- Looking at the history of articles such as Kriging, Geostatistics, Spatial dependence, Tolstoy syndrome there appears to be an edit war waged by the user JanWMerks
- I have rearranged the Kriging page so that JanWMerks' arguments are contained in the Controversy section. Jan appears to have accepted my rationale, at least for the time being.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I would prefer that the Kriging article explain the statistical technique in an accessable and unbiased manner.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- It's fine to post on User_talk:Azeari - I don't have a burning urge to become directly involved
