A tag has been placed on Mercator medsystems, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. G1ggy! Review me! 23:19, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reason for deletion
Hi, I deleted your unsourced recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources that it meets the notability guidelines.
It as also written in the style of an advertisement, and tagged as such by a previous editor) even to the extent of putting in Trademark indicators. (I haven’t checked whether it’s also a copyright infringement ). Examples
- Mercator intends to establish adventitial therapeutic delivery as the gold standard, (spam)
- Bullfrog™, (spam)
- successful commercialization (no reference)
- Mercator MedSystems has overcome the limitations of previous approaches (no reference).
- List of major clinical advantages - (no references or list of limitations)
- The (unsourced) market applications section read like a company mission statement
- Since physicians have been limited to treatments that were blocked by the passageway wall, they have been unable to take full advantage of the adventitia. (no reference)
- A list of directors and their credentials is exactly what you what expect to see on a company website, not in a descriptive article.
Your choice of username suggests that you may have a conflict of interest and not be the best person to write a balanced article. If you do decide to recreate as a proper article, might I suggest that the medical bit might be better suited as a separate article from the company stuff.
