"Berlusconi often uses the Italian television networks owned by the company for his own political interests, as was apparent in the elections of April 2006 where he tried to use his connections to host an unplanned debate between himself and Romano Prodi with an unsuccessful attempt to broadcast the whole time of the debate with just him in clear violation of election laws."

I believe this part of the article does not conform to a neutral point of view. It should either be removed or supported through an external source (that is not directly or indirectly tied to one of the current Italian governing parties).

- I believe it is 100pc accurate going on BBC's profile of the media (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/country_profiles/1065345.stm#media) 80.229.154.106 (talk) 18:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Confusing Fake News Section

What are the stories and the basis behind the fake news released by Mediaset? I think you're just saying about something that "this is that" without detail and any proof. Offended? Feel free to say your complaint on my talk page. -Pika ten10 (talk) 13:54, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
