to other authors that wish to improve this article, there are a couple things that clearly need improvement

  • intro is too wordy / too much jargon. Needs to make the points simply and push furhter details and subtleties to deeper into in the article
  • perhaps focuses too much on 'multi-source of facts'. to make the point about meshing, we need to not only focus on 'finding the facts' media meshing, but include meshing in gaming and entertainment, hobbies that turn into occupations (or at least productive obsessions). Perhaps an example: fans of certain video games not only end up playing the game and diligently buying upgrades as the company provides them, but they write books and comics and film-projects set in the game's universe, create art surrounding the game and share that in near real time with other gamers, organize conferences, create languages, generate community websites around the game, fabricate prequels and sequels to the game, deconstruct the game and use it for educational purposes or social studies projects, design hallowe'en costumes, create programmatic mods and tools to enhance gameplay (sometimes verging on copyright or trademark infringement for 'old-school-of-thought' companies that don't welcome or know how to capitalise on this higher degree of 'engagement')
  • substantiate that media meshing, the activity, is not really new, just that the forms of media used and the rate at which it can be done has been catalyzed by the internet
  • authentic historic perspective required: nice to have a paper or something on 'how the internet has changed mass media'
  • intro is too long, needs to be broken up into subsections and/or simplified
