Mechuwana is a United Methodist camp that was established in 1948 in Winthrop, Maine. It covers 200 acres of land near Lake Annabessacook and Lower Narrows Pond. Mechuwana's summer camps are led by volunteers. Mechuwana is a made up word that means "Methodist Church of God's Nature."
