[edit] Speedy deletion
Which article are you referring to? —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 21:57, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, okay. That was deleted under WP:CSD#A7, which states that articles on web content must state why the website is important or significant. Basically, why is MyNewPlace so important or unique that Wikipedia should have an article on it? You may also need to keep WP:NPOV in mind to avoid advertisement-like copy, which is another reason articles on companies are often deleted. I hope you find this helpful. —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 22:25, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that would at least keep the article from being deleted under CSD A7. (That doesn't necessarily guarantee it won't be nominated for deletion under some other deletion process like WP:AFD, but that process requires a general consensus from a number of Wikipedians and has a 7-day discussion period that would allow you to at least comment on the nominator's concerns.) It would also make the claims more credible if you cited them with an independent (third-party) source, see Wikipedia:Citing sources. Good luck! —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 22:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:35, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
