Regarding your recent edits to Meta-model:

  • Please note that it is not standard practice on Wikipedia to have a section heading of any kind above all other content, but rather to have an unheaded "leader paragraph" that provides basic information on a topic. You can see examples of this style by looking at almost any Wikipedia article. Lambda calculus is a good example. You may find it helpful to consult the Manual of Style and other related pages for tips on the Wikipedia house style.
  • The note on the orthography of metamodel is interesting (although I'm not sure if it's in quite the right place in the article - still thinking about that). Do you happen to have a reference for the "recommended standard orthography"? If we're to claim that something is recommended, it helps to be able to show who has made the recommendation.

Since you have an interest in the content of the Meta-model article, you may want to weigh in on the discussions on the Meta-modeling article talk page regarding a proposed merge of several articles.

Article talk pages (click the "discussion" tab at the top of the article) are also usually a good place to bring up issues such as the spelling of metamodel. Assuming that the consensus is to adopt the "recommended standard orthography" we may also look at renaming the article to mathc the recommended orthography at the same time as the various proposed merges are taking place.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me at my talk page. --Allan McInnes (talk) 03:48, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Executable UML

Hi, I notice that you've been editing pages like model driven architecture and model driven engineering. Would you be able to review Executable UML? It would be helpful to get some peer review on that article just for things like factual accuracy. Thanks either way. GeorgeBills 12:23, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
