[edit] Freak Radio Santa Cruz
Is Santa Cruz too far south to be considered San Francisco Bay Area? Just wondering why you deleted the table from the FRSC page. A good place to explain such edits is on the "edit description" line, and an even better place is on the article's discussion page, and you get brownie points for using both. It seems to me that if the station's signal reaches people in the Bay Area, that is enough to qualify it as a Bay Area radio station. I don't know whether or not it has that range, however, and will defer to your expertise.--Rockero420 22:47, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- According to a report on FRSC yesterday, a pirate radio station called Radio Libre (free radio in Spanish) is set to begin broadcasting out of San José today. The frequency was 101.5, I believe, but I have no other information about the station whatsoever, and as I'm out of the area, I can't simply tune in to find out. Maybe it's something you could look into?--Rockero420 17:37, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] U.S. Customary measurements
Hello Mcpusc,
I seen what you were trying to do to the Template:Infobox U.S. state with the english meausements. I tried to do something like in January but it did not work like I have hoped. What I ended up doing was make a new template for with english and metric units on it. I only used it on the Michigan article. I eventually figured out how to do the hiddenStructure trick on the Template:Infobox Country infobox and have been plugging in the English measurements into all the countries' infoboxes. I had been meaning to come back to the Template:Infobox U.S. state and do the HiddenStructure thing there but never did. So seeing what you were trying made me finially do it. I set up the Michigan article to show the hiddenStructures (in this case the U.S. Customary units). Check out the Michigan article and let me know if that works for you?
P.S. I just saw that you had started on some of the states Al, Ak,....CA. It seemed to work there too. So I say keep changing them. Also, you may want to check this out: Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. states . MJCdetroit 04:23, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

- I use this at work to do conversions: http://joshmadison.net/software/. It is Windows only (no Mac version yet). Works works very well and can be programmed for population desity. MJCdetroit 20:19, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: PGI Images
Hi there. The images for the article are from various PGI systems in the UK, and were supplied to me by Microtima who were involved in installing them. I take you point about the promotion - certainly for the 1st image which I thought was very borderline. It was a case of those images were better than no images, but if you think they're not fit to for use then certainly go ahead and remove them and I'll take some pictures myself on my next site visit that should be more suitable for use. Thanks for the heads-up. Kinkladze28 09:37, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

- Many thanks for the great advice. I'll get onto it when I have a spare moment. Kinkladze28 11:01, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
