[edit] RIAA gold/platinum certification for MC Ren solo albums

Over the past few years, various users have edited MC Ren's discography page and have added the RIAA certification status to several of his releases. As someone who has spent a great deal of time researching MC Ren's career (and constantly re-correcting MC Ren's RIAA discography information), I have not been able to verify any RIAA certification other than PLATINUM status for his 1992 E.P. "Kizz My Black Azz". This can be verified by using RIAA's gold/platinum searchable database by visiting: RIAA - Gold and Platinum As I recall, MC Ren's "Shock of the Hour", "Villain in Black", and "Ruthless For Life" did not enjoy great commercial success or record sales.

[edit] N.W.A. And The Posse

MC Ren wasn't a part of N.W.A when they recorded this and doesn't feature on any of the songs. So this shouldn't be part of MC Ren's discography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.152.67.180 (talk) 06:12, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Although Ren wasn't officially a member of N.W.A when N.W.A. And The Posse was released, he still briefly appeared on album's "8-Ball" track at the end of the song:

• "Yo Eazy, you forgot to tell 'em what city you chill in..."
