[edit] Religion section

Most of the article seems well referenced - are there any references for the 'religion' section besides the Turnbull I just put in? Especially the 'one to four days' (Turnbull makes it sound like it goes on however long they think it ought to) and the 'thanking the forest.' Unless someone has other information, maybe I'll change those so it follows Turnbull. Also, if an expert on referencing wants to glance over my efforts and make sure I got the code right, I'd be grateful. I think it worked. Candle-ends 21:18, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

I think that the two articles shouldn't be merged because of the fact that they are two different peoples. It would be like trying to merge an article about buddhism with one about judaism

[edit] The Twa or Batwa

Among the pygmy population in central Africa, the name they take varies from one side to the other. Nevertheless, the Twa and the Mbuti (or Batwa and Bambuti) are the same population group. So maybe this article should be an article called "Pygmies (Central Africa)", which would talk about both groups (even though I am not even sure they are really different). • I think they are different because they speak a different language. I don't know a lot about either of these two groups but looking at the language part alone it seems like they are different. Also, my girlfriend wrote a lot of this original article and she was an anthropology major and studied the Mbuti in depth. Although she could be wrong, I think she would have included the Twa if they really were the same population. However, if someone who is an expert on this subject wants to decide this issue, it would be much appriciated. Once again though, they speak different languages and have different related ethnic groups which leads me to beleive they are different. Michael.passman 15:50, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

I do not think that this should be combined with the Twa, i mean it is hard enough to find info on the Efe as it is, I do not need to have to pick out the info form the Twa too. I mean a lot of people use this site for research projects. Think of convenience.

First, I have to say working at a university library, please do not use this site for research projects. For quick information, links, and getting a grasp on generally understood information, these pages are useful. But more importantly in the thread of this, the Twa & the Mbuti should NOT be combined because they face different situtations today. Sure, once upon a time they were closely related and even traversed the same area, but reading what does exist of each article it is clear the two groups live seperate lives. We mine as well include Liechtenstein with Switzerland or Malta with Italy. Meateatingvegan 15:32, 16 March

[edit] Turnbull without an introduction

A link to Turnbull's article was necessary since he was given no introduction. I added this to the end of the bit about Molimo. --Aeranis 21:01, 23 April 2007 (UTC) 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blueprints Comment

This may be a little "nitpicky" but is it neccesary to say unlike modern architects because if they were like modern architects they be living in temporary hut foraging for food (most likely).
