I have a wide variety of interests and if I dove into all of them here I would have no life at all. Nonetheless, I will list them here.

Military history is one of my primary fields of study in history. I tend to specialize on the maritime aspects of the following conflicts:

Numismatics and Notaphily - Coins of the United States dollar, United States dollar
- I ask for and use Half dollars, dollar coins, and two-dollar bills in regular transactions. I am a registered user of Where's George?, and I enter every bill that comes into my possession into this system. My ultimate goal is to become a Top Tom; explanation here.
- The obverse of the American Silver Eagle is the the most beautiful obverse on any coin today in my opinion.
- The reverse of the Susan B. Anthony dollar is the most beautiful reverse on any coin today in my opinion.
