- Thabo Mbeki, President of South Africa
- Govan Mbeki, the father of Thabo Mbeki
- Epainette Mbeki, the mother of Thabo Mbeki, President of South Africa
- Moeletsi Mbeki, son of Govan and brother of Thabo. He is deputy chairman of the South African Institute of International Affairs.
