[edit] Seeking community input re standardizing baseball roster pages

Hi ... I'm leaving you this note because you recently made edits to one of the Major League Baseball roster pages. I've made a proposal for standardizing the format, structure and content of these pages here and would appreciate your input so that we may reach a consensus. Thanks. --Sanfranman59 05:24, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Red Sox roster page

As part of the aforementioned standardization project, we have come up with a standard for all of the MLB roster pages. As part of that standard we will be moving all rosters to the template: namespace. I noticed that you have already reverted one such attempt to redirect to the #current roster on the Red Sox page. I'm assuming you did this because of the page history and that is what I want to address. I plan on merging the history with the template page. I'm hoping to avoid another such revert so we can standardize these rosters. They really need it. Thanks. RobDe68 22:30, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:AstrosRetired5.PNG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:AstrosRetired5.png. The copy called Image:AstrosRetired5.png has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 13:15, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
