[edit] Phenethylamine backbone?
That's what the article claims. However, I cannot make out a phenethylamine backbone in mazindol's structure at all. At no point in the molecule are there two carbon atoms between a nitrogen atom and a benzene ring. Instead, there is only one carbon atom between rings and nitrogen atoms at all the various points. Mazindol is apparently not a phenethylamine stimulant like the amphetamines or methylphenidate. I am removing this reference. 24.113.82.222 07:56, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
