I was under the impression that Maycomb was the county in which the book took place.

"Maycomb" is both the name of the town and the name of the county.

I think this article can still be expanded. Information on the characters living there, the places etc can be included. I think it is a good idea to consult more people before merging it. Thank you. Angcr (talk) 09:30, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
