May Hardman

May Hardman was a fictional character in the British Soap Opera Coronation Street. Played by Joan Heath. May was the first resident of number 13 Coronation Street along with her daughter Christine Hardman. May's was the first death in the series, when she collapsed from a Brain Tumor in 1960.
