  95. ^ A reading of 43C recorded on April 23rd,2007 at Tay Hieu (Nghe An Province), was taken in a small station and may be affected by overexposure. Apparently, according to the data recorded in the Vietnamese Meteorological Service for this station is " digital data 0.6C taller",so in this case the correct value would be between 42.4C and 43.6C. The instrument used seems not to be compatible with today's stardards. Old Vietnamese records taken during French colonization were taken under not proper exposure conditions and they should be discharged.
  96. ^ Some sources quote an old record of -8.3C at Sana'a,but it is to be considered unreliable or indeed be a reading taken at higher elevations.
