I think Maratone should have its own page with links to Max Martin etc. Maratone and Max Martin are two separate things, and there are more people working at Marataone than Martin.

I think the following is either unsuitably vague or just patently false:

'The producers at Cheiron had almost the opposite of the producer role of the late '60s, when an artist would write the songs and then hire a producer to help shape the sound. At Cheiron the producers wrote the songs, played the instruments, engineered and mixed the recordings and the artist was only brought in near the end of the process'

whoever wrote this has obviously never heard of Motown, Stax, or any other Pop oriented production house (with the singular exception of the Beatles and George Martin). The vocalist has traditionally been brought in when necessary in American Pop. I can't fathom what this person was talking about!
