Maxacapan

Maxacapan is an ejido, (co-op community) within the Municipio of Catemaco, located, on the edge of Laguna Catemaco, 3 kilometers north of Catemaco City in southcentral Veracruz, southeastern Mexico. Locally, the ejido is well known for its tegogolos(fresh water snails)harvested from Laguna Catemaco.
