Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) was establish at Santosh, Tangail in 1999 with a view to provide modern and scientific knowledge through high quality education to the students.This university is the first of its kind among the public university in Bnagladesh.
The university has experienced and qualified fulltime teachers and it also hires,whenever necessary, international reputed teachers from home and abroad to teach courses relevant to the continuously changing environment in the world of knowledge. The focus is given on human resource development through constant and appropriate linkage with the job market.
The university arranges seminars, symposia, workshop etc., on different topics with local and international experts in relevant field aiming at exchanging views and upgrading knowledge.
