I learned about him last night, speaking to one of the librarians at the UD-Mercy where Maurice Greenia works. The UD-Mercy provides this information:
Maurice Greenia Library Assistant, Circulation, McNichols Campus Library eMail: greeniam@udmercy.edu phone: 313.993.1795
Provides circulation assistance to the patrons of the McNichols Campus Library. He issues library cards, checks library materials in and out, facilitates hold and renewals and assists patrons with the copy machines. Maurice organizes and maintains the McNichols Campus Library Reserve Collection, working with faculty to obtain and return reserve material, locating missing materials and preparing bibliographies for the Reserve Notebook. In his position as preservationist, it is Maurice's responsibility to repair damaged books or send them out to be rebound. Maurice prepares displays for the McNichols Campus Library cases, displaying artistic, historical and instructive collections and advertising these exhibits. Greenia received a B.A. degree from the University of Detroit in 1975. He studied journalism, English, radio, film and television. He joined the University in 2001. http://research.udmercy.edu/library_services/bio.php?id=69

You will have to pay Wiley Interscience to read this article about cognition. Science concept achievement and cognitive functions Norval C. Scott Jr. Marshall School, Detroit, Michigan Abstract The purpose of the study reported here was to investigate the relationship of individual differences in cognitive styles to science concept achievement. Apparently, Maugre's cognitive style is compelling to those who study those who study science. doi.wiley.com/10.1002/tea.3660020105 http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/abstract/112754407/ABSTRACT Mike1949mercury 02:29, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
