The Maurine is 20 km a long tributary of the Stepenitz in the extreme northwest corner of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

The Maurine originates between Breesen and Dechow in the southwest of the district Nordwestmecklenburg in a forest and meadow area 45 m above mean sea level.
In the upper run it flows through an approximately 1 km² Röggeliner See, whose bank ranges belong to the large protected nature reserves Kuhlrader Moor and Röggeliner See covering 3.28 km².
The difference in height from the source to the delta is approximately 40 m.
