Maurice Jean Marie Bourgès-Maunoury (August 19, 1914 - February 10, 1993) was a French Radical politician who served as Prime Minister in the Fourth Republic during 1957.
He is famous, especially, in heading the government during the Suez Crisis.[citation needed] He died in Paris.

As minister of Interior, he nominated the controversed Maurice Papon at the head of the Prefecture of Police in 1958, functions which he kept during the 1961 Paris massacre.[citation needed]
