Maude Meagher (?1895-?1977) was a novelist. Readers of fantasy best remember her as the author of Fantastic Traveler, the tale of a young man living in a world of his dreams. One unsubstantiated source suggests that Lin Carter, editor of the Ballantine Books "Sign of the Unicorn" fantasy series, intended to reprint Fantastic Traveler, but the series ended before he could do so.
