[edit] Coccolithovirus

there was a footnote that was not used in Coccolithovirus, you might want to check that out. Also see WP:FOOTNOTES for a way to easily avoid such problems in the future. Regards. Circeus 15:59, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Please don't randomly alter citation styles if you aren't going to actually work on the article, some people prefer a maintainable system. Thanks :) - FrancisTyers 22:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Circeus thanks for the heads up I've moved the extra citation, hopefully I'll get some more content soon to use it ;) MattOates 22:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DYK Coccolithovirus

Updated DYK query On June 1, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Coccolithovirus, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Nice article! --Spangineer[es] (háblame) 22:12, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:Coccolithovirus

Please read and respond to my comments there, thanks. By the way, your user page is effectively illegible in my browser (Safari), the columns overlap completely. —johndburger 19:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I haven't got a Mac but if you're interested in fixing it I won't stop you ;) It looks fine under IE and Firefox, so I'm assuming it’s a floating bug with Safari. I can't really be bothered to spend much time worrying about ~3% of web users :P
More like it's a resolution problem lame :<

[edit] Evolution strategy

Hello, friend.

Please, see the evolution strategy article. I put there some arguments to change the text you wrote. But I would like that you read the discussion page before.

See you! :)

[edit] Artificial life

I understand your point of view. However, Alife is a little unique among the "sciences" in that it's less a field of knowledge and more a field of techniques. These techniques can be applied to scientific ends, but they are also applied towards artistic ends. In this regard it's rather unique. It'd be like if crosshatching could also be used as a method of gathering data in science. Or if Stoichiometry equations could be considered art. To be honest, I find the wording in that first section awkward. Maybe Alife isn't a field of study or an art form, maybe it's a technique. Or just a method of simulation. I'm not sure. It's rather difficult to define exactly what Alife is. Everyone seems to have a slightly different definition. Alife is alot like what it studies: there's so many different approaches. It's all so emergent. --Numsgil 12:37, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Berkeley Algorithm

A tag has been placed on Berkeley Algorithm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 21:37, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

How about you give the lad a chance to flesh out the template!!! MattOates (Ulti) (talk) 21:40, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
