User talk:Matqkks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi Matqkks, I think it would be good to stop posting links to your own book in maths articles in Wikipedia - as you will notice, regular editors will simply remove them very quickly. I think you would be better advised to advertise your books through the proper channels, but any other contributions you wish to make to wikipedia would be well-received. Best wishes, Madmath789 21:06, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
It is also not considered polite to delete messages that other wikipedians have posted! Madmath789 12:02, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome
Welcome back to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction and the Guide to creating your first article.
- You should not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Before writing about your own business, read Business' FAQ.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.

[edit] Engineering Mathematics Applications
A tag has been placed on Engineering Mathematics Applications, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
