[edit] Passion for the Arts
The arts are very important to me, and I believe that a person who is not exposed to any form of art will suffer with certain areas later in life. Because of my beliefs, I have become an active member of the theatre program at Hilliard Davidson High School. This has allowed me to express my passion for the arts, as well as work with people who share my interests to create a product that is unique and amazing. Theatre is a true passion of mine, and is one which I hold very dear to my heart.

[edit] Student Council: A Necessity
Although I do not believe that children should be allowed to vote or serve as office-holders, I do feel that kids are not listened too enough, and that they should be allowed to express their opinions as much as possible. Those who believe children to be only ignorant should allow as many children to speak to them as humanly possible; the only way to correct ignorance is the allow free speech. Until recently, I have served as a member of Student Council at my high school, and am currently on book to travel to France, Italy, and Greece with People to People during the summer of 2008.

[edit] The Voice: Man's True Instrument
I have been a member of choir in some form in Hilliard, Ohio since 2004. I believe very strongly that those who are musically involved will be encouraged to spread their love of music through the generations. A love of the arts, as previously stated, is something that I believe all people should have.

[edit] Books: Generation to Generation
I believe that books are the one true form of communication between generations, and that the written word is the single most important thing in the English language, as well as in the world. Although reading has lost popularity with the creation of the internet and video games, it remains to be one of the true forms of art, whether you are a writer, journalist, or an admiring reader. People can find themselves lost in books for endless hours, timeless days, unlike the more confined world of cellular phones, text messages, and computers. Resembling theatre, books are a true haven for those hoping to relieve themselves of the pressures of daily life.

[edit] Art in Physical Form: Athletics
Sports and other physical activities are very interesting and fun because they provide a relieve from the stressors of everyday through the most natural human function: physical activity. Athletics served as the original form of entertainment and enterprise, and it remains a very key player today. I am proud to serve with an athletic organization on a part time basis, working with younge athletes to help build their love of the game (whatever the game may be).
