Who the hell is this guy? Moses? The article borders on hagiography. There's no point my listing all the violations of NPOV rules--it needs serious revision.--WadeMcR 02:37, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] absolutely needs radical revision

i love matt johnson's output as a musician, but this article is totally ludicrous. it's utterly inappropriate for wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.37.122.173 (talk • contribs)

[edit] Revision

Me, 141.156.233.3, and 81.131.85.3 have all worked to improve the quality of this article from a huge case of non-NPOV. I have removed the POV tag, as I think most of the incriminating text has been removed or rephrased. If anyone sees further breaches of NPOV, or wishes to incorporate text which we removed and make it NPOV, go ahead. I'm sure there is more information on Johnson that isn't so clearly biased as what was once in this article. Folkor 19:23, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

I found this on new page patrol. The user created Administrators of Wikipedia for it. I left a msg on his talk page. --Chaser (T) 09:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

To the editor/administrator, Please note: I have edited the Matt Johnson/The The page. Everything is correct and in order. However, I have mentioned Matt's early band (of whom I was a member) the `original Marble Index' (notice the word original has been inserted just in case...). There could be a copyright problem as there is now a world touring music band called `Marble Index' from Canada, who have existed for the past four to seven years (I am not actually sure how long). They have many websites, a record company, an organisation, but do they hold the copyright to the name? This matter has yet to be resolved. By all means get in touch; chaztempest69@yahoo.co.uk Yours sincerely Charles Blackburn/Chaz Tempest.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Chaztempest (talkcontribs)

[edit] external links

I have added this link (www.thethe.com) cause it contains interviews with Matt Johnson --Probos76 15:09, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Keith Laws

The article mentions that MJ searched for a band member via newspaper and that they released Burning Blue Soul as a duo, but has no info on who the other guy was. From the The The article I figure that it must have been one "Keith Laws". Maybe that should be added.
