I read this all over the internet that Matt is Shawn's cousin. Is there a credible or verifiable source on this or is he HBK's kayfabe cousin? It is known Matt was trained by HBK. ABB
HE IS his real cousin, and was trained by him.
On Shawn's page is says that they are cousins

Matt Bentley was at an April 4, 2008 Smackdown episode against Vladimir Kozlov in a losing effort. I don't know if he's signed to a deal though. Godfather Ralph (talk) 09:30, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
