There is none as far as I know. There's always specualtion but from what I know, it is false.--Canuckman 06:09, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm a Swede and I can tell you right away that Mats and Markus aren't related. Näslund (meaning "näs" = isthmus and "lund" = grove) is in fact a common surname in Sweden. HakanSükür 17:04, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
