Talk:Mathmos

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are some issues with this page which i would like to draw attention to.

Firstly Edward Craven walker invented the 'Astro' lamp, the rights to produce and sell the lamp on the American Market were sold to Haggerty Enterprises in 1966, and it was the Americans who coined the phrase Lava lamp.

Mathmos still manufactues the 'Astro' lamp in their Factory in Poole, Dorset and from 1990 Mathmos has been owned soley by Cressida Granger.

Today Mathmos sells various lava-lamps and as well as over 20 other lighting products, most of which are ambient lighting - incorporating colour and movement of some description.
