[edit] OpenOffice Math

Is there a reason for OpenOffice Math not exporting in this format? Copyright issues maybe? Gimboid 18:38, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't know. Few guesses could be: it is not open source, and it does not even import TeX without attaching a for-MathType-sequence. Springbreak04 05:54, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A link for creating latex equations online.

Hello,

I do not know where this message should have gone. I have created a program using which a latex equation (in fact any arbitrary latex code) can be converted to a jpeg image instantly online. I simply wanted the editors here to know about this so that they can use it while designing formulae and embedding into wiki. The program is available here: http://people.csa.iisc.ernet.in/~nasre/cgi-bin/latex2image .

Thanks.

[edit] Does not read like a wikipedia article

This article reads as if it was produced by the company itself.

- "Professional" is a weasel-word.

- Nowhere does it mention "proprietary."

It should be cleaned up to reflect wikipedia's standards.

Upon further observation, every wikipedia article on softwares written by the company "design science" looks exactly like an advertisement. If the company is editing its own articles, it is sad. That, coupled with the tone of the articles is a violation of several wikipedia polities, like coi, advert, notability. Deego (talk) 17:47, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

The usual procedure is to attempt modification before ornamenting with multiple tags. There are a few word choices here that could be made more neutral. Why didn't you just make them? --Pleasantville (talk) 18:04, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
