I remember wery well Mateja Svet and I am very proud of her , because she is Slovenian.I mean she is from Slovenia, not from Slovakia. Slovenia is on the Sunny Side of the Alps, south of the border of Austria. On the west side of the Country lies Italy and Slovenia has also a part of Adriatic sea. Yes, Mateja Svet was a real World champion.She won many excellent titles in such a short time, but how she won them was probably unic in woman skiing. I mean the ellegance and how light she was skiing.Her skies were allways together and it was almost unbelievable to watch , how she did it. Unfortunately she was forced to stop her career...I saw an interwiew with Mateja on Slovenian Television. She said:"I was afraid of my life...!!!??? Who was ready to stop her living? Mateja did not say more about that...
