Matthew Bobo

Matthew Bobo (born January 6, 1977) is an American soccer player. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and attended Eastern Illinois University.
Bobo began his career with the Milwaukee Rampage in the 2002 A-League Championship, before moving to Richmond Kickers, where he played between 2003 and 2005, helping the team during their run in the 2005 USL First Division Championship.
In February 2006, Jason Smith announced that Bobo was to join the Atlanta Silverbacks, eight years after making his first strides onto the soccer scene, when he made the selection for the First-Team All-Midwest in 1998, being recognized as EIU's MVP of that same season.
Bobo is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 180 lbs. He has said of his move, "I think that the Silverbacks have a great organization and I'm looking forward to being a part of it."[1]
