[edit] Biography and life
Israeli born Matti, came to London in the early 90's, armed with his classical training, some studio experience and serious passion for the art, Matti enrolled into Kingston University's Gateway school of music to come a year later straight into the dance scene working at the Hit-House in Hammersmith in 1994/5 with the likes of Farley Jack Master Funk, Dirty Rotten Scoundrals, Matt Jam and Carl Brown plus many more while producing records with James Reynolds.
During his time in the Hit House, Matt met Sara Jay who featured on Massive Attack's Mezzanine, they married in 1998 and divorced in 2001.
Matt honed his skills and moved to the BeatFarm studios in 1996/8, making hundreds of records with the likes of Massive Attack, Mica Paris, Arthur baker, Sara J, Tall Paul, Wamdue Project, JTQ and a host of others while developing unsigned bands and making his own records when he found a spare moment.
In 1998 Matt decided to concentrate on his own career as an artist as well as a producer and bought a little studio. In 2000 he started Destined records for his own output and Blackgold recordings with Gil Goldberg of Back-Yard recordings and Sony Music, Blackgold had 4 releases amongst them 'Dancing in the dark' by 4tune500 who was an outfit for Matt and Jo Mills which went on to sell 15,000 Vinyls-Blackgold folded 2 years later after the next releases failed to be successful.
Since then Matt had a string of international hits under many different names such as Dada Ft Sandy Rivera & Trix, The Drill 4tune500 and Deepest Blue. He's married to Anastacia, his long time Brazilian girlfriend and currently Resides in Northwest London.
Matt works from his state of the art production facility in the west end.
