Matthew Gillette Robinson (born June 28, 1955 in Farmington, Michigan) is a former professional American football player. A 9th round drafted quarterback from the University of Georgia in the 1977 NFL Draft, Robinson played in the National Football League from 1977-1982 for the New York Jets, the Denver Broncos, and the Buffalo Bills. Also he was the starting quarterback for the Denver Gold of the United States Football League during its two-year existence.
