Matt Ferguson

Matt Ferguson (born November 30, 1966 in Bloomington, Indiana) is an American CEO for the online job site CareerBuilder.com. An alumni of Indiana University, Ferguson also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Northwestern University.

Between 2001 and 2006, Ferguson took CareerBuilder.com from a budding contender in the online recruitment space, to the leader in traffic, jobs and revenue through investment in cutting-edge technology, committed customer service, aggressive sales strategies and multi-faceted marketing campaigns.

In 2004, Crain’s Chicago Business named Ferguson one of the “40 under 40”. ^[1]

In 2007, Ferguson was awarded the Staffing Professional of the Year by the Staffing Management Association of Greater Chicago formerly EMA Chicago.
