Mats Christer Johannes Odell (born April 30, 1947) is a Swedish politician (Christian Democrat) and former minister of communications (1991-1994). Since October 2006 he is Minister for Financial Markets.
Odell was chairman of the Christian Democratic Youth League 1974-1981. He is a member of the board of the Christian Democrats since 1988, MP since 1991, and the economics spokesman of the Christian Democrats 1994-2006.
