Mathew Knowles (born January 9, 1951) is an American record executive and manager. He is the father and manager of R&B star Beyoncé Knowles and her sister Solange Knowles, and is best known as the manager of his daughters and of the female R&B former girl group Destiny's Child. He is married to Tina Knowles.
Knowles is an alumnus of Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and he is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He founded and operates the Music World Entertainment record label imprint, which has released music by artists including Destiny's Child, Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, Solange Knowles, 2 much and Mic little.
He and his family are members of St. John's Methodist Church, Houston, Texas.[1][2]
