[edit] The Hawk

Thank you for your edits to Wikipedia. However, you should not blanketly erase the work of others as you did on 6 February 2008 at the disambiguation page The Hawk. If you wish to create a page for the mascot of a basketball team, you will need to give it a name that does not conflict with the name of another article. Such a name might be The Hawk (Saint Joseph's University mascot). However, mascots are usually dealt with as a paragraph in the article about the sports team. Regardless, you need to read some of the policies and guidelines here at Wikipedia. In particular, read the Manual of Style. Because, assuming good faith, you did not know what a disambiguation page was, take a look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). Also, please note that articles are not signed. Comments on talk pages are signed. Information about who wrote what part of an article is preserved under the history tab. Good luck, and happy editing. --Bejnar (talk) 22:51, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
