Hello, I am rather inexperienced at editing wikipedia, but if I see something that is wrong, I will fix it.

I should also note that I do not believe there is merit in having a neutral point of view, though my edits strive not to reflect this belief. To paraphrase author Howard Zinn, I believe that if you want information to serve society in some way, it requires that you choose your information on the basis of what you think will advance the causes of humanity. So, in practical application, the only reason to create or edit an article is if you think it will serve someone in a positive way. And the definition of "positive" varies from person to person. Someone who believes in a relative universe, that is, without "good" or "evil", will be more inclined to edit an article in such a way that does not distinguish between "positive" or "negative" information. This is the NPOV policy that wikipedia has chosen to value. However, someone who believes in a universe made of absolutes will be more inclined to edit articles in a way that they believe contains only positive, helpful, constructive information. Almost all articles are written in such a manner, which is in direct contrast to wikipedia's policy of a neutral point of view. I think that as long as wikipedia remains NPOV, some articles will never be accurate. Sitting on the fence does not get you any closer to the correct side...or the FACTUAL side, to put it in a way socially suitable.

I also do not believe in socialism, marcoevolution, objectivity, or "correct" grammar. However, my edits should not reflect these beliefs.

On a lighter note, I want to take more photogrphhs of trees on wikipedia, many of them have no picture. I live in the Bluegrass reigon of Kentucky, so my scope is limited to the midwestern and southern regions of the United States. I'm not even very proud of the pictures I have uploaded, but I plan on getting higher resolution shots sometimes in the future. My hobbies include electronic music, studying ecology and sleeping in.
